An independent schools’ fair is set to be a resounding success with representatives of some of the very best schools in the region, The Basingstoke Gazette reports.
The event, run by The Salisbury Journal, will see the area’s top independent schools come together under one roof to showcase the range of excellent private education across the area.
There are 18 schools signed up for the event which is set to attract prospective pupils from across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties.
Salisbury city based schools include Godolphin, Chafyn Grove and Leehurst Swan.
Whilst from the rest of Wiltshire and surrounding counties, those in attendance will include: Sandroyd, Warminster, Norman Court, St Mary’s Shaftesbury, Forres Sandle Manor, Clayesmore, Ringwood Waldorf, Farleigh School, Port Regis, Moyles Court, Hampshire Collegiate, Leweston, Knighton House, Bruton Girls School and St Mary’s Calne.
The schools represent all age groups, offering high-quality education from nursery and pre-prep to GCSEs and A levels at sixth form level.
The show takes place at the Guildhall, Salisbury, on Saturday March 4th. The doors open at 9.00 am and close at 2.00 pm. Entry to the show is free of charge.
Mark Vernon, education and multimedia sales executive, said: “Investing in your child’s education is money well spent at any age. This show is a unique event that gave parents and guardians the opportunity to talk to those representing independent schools in the local area and to discuss the outstanding education they can give their children.”
